Currently enrolled at Florida International University, Sofia Vazquez is a fifth-year student working hard for a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture. Ever since she was a little girl, Vazquez would help her father do renovations and design elements all around her childhood home. Given this opportunity at FIU, Sofia couldn’t pass up the opportunity to partake in an Accelerated Master’s Program for Interior Architecture. Being a detail-oriented gal and seeing potential and opportunity in spaces others might not have reassured Vazquez that she is in the right field. Her biggest aspiration is to one day make it on Architectural Digest, whether it be a space she designed or her own home that she designed. Creating a company that merges the knowledge of Interior Architecture and Real Estate is Sofia Vazquez’s tangible goal, and her perseverance will ensure she gets there. And when she is not paying attention to every detail in a room, she goes back to doing what started this passion in the first place — spending time with family.
